While raising her family in Clifton, Cindy was a leader of the elementary school PTA and a very active "team mom" for her sons' various sports teams, up to and including their college years.             Survivors include: his beloved wife, Cynthia (née Wieczerzak); two sons, Dennis Mikula, Jr. and his wife, Diana, and Ryan Mikula; three grandchildren, Lucy Mikula and Ryan and Jeremy Mikula; his brother, Andrew Mikula and his wife, Nancy; and his sister-in-law, Cornelia Mikula.
